Sam graduated in 2016 from the University of Nottingham in the UK. He completed a hospital based internship in equine medicine and surgery at Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic. Since then he has worked in equine only practice in both the UK and Australia. He worked for 2 years at Scone Equine Hospital and the Equine Podiatry and Lameness Centre before joining Tamworth Equine Veterinary Centre full time in 2024.
Sam has a broad range of experience in equine medicine and surgery. He gained a further veterinary qualification in equine dentistry (MANZCVS Equine Dentistry) and has a special interest in equine lameness and performance. Sam works closely with farriers across the region, including our consultant farrier Link Baumann.
