The practice can provide clients with comprehensive advice and appropriate medications for vaccination and worming programs, dental care, pre-purchase examinations and general medical assessments. Our veterinarians will consult at the practice premises in King George Ave or we can visit your property. For more complex cases it may be necessary to schedule certain examinations at the veterinary centre because of limitations in moving equipment, however, in most cases an initial consultation can be carried out on the horse's home farm. Clients are welcome to leave horses at the veterinary centre for examination whilst they attend to their business in town. This is generally a convenience for scheduling during the day and eliminates waiting time if the clinic is busy.
We recommend initial examination at the home farm of any horses that have unexplained fever or very acute onset of respiratory-related illness.
